  • Air Velocity Testing

On a regular basis the Pollution Control service team takes air velocity tests on a dust collector and duct system.

The purpose of this testing is to accurately identify system performance and also clearly establish problem points on any dust collection system. The test results include static pressure and velocity pressure readings. These allow the service technician to mathematically determine conveying velocity (FPM) and volume of air flow (CFM). After all testing is finalized; PCS will provide a detailed service report with results of the testing and providing action steps to improve the efficiency of your dust collector.
